How do I book?
We only take reservations (maximum party size of 4 people), via our website up to 90-days in advance – just click “reservation” and follow through the simple steps. We do ask for a deposit of £25 per person. This deposit is fully refundable if a cancellation is made more than 24 hours in advance of your booking. Any cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will be non-refundable.
Why do we take a deposit?
As we are a small, 14 cover restaurant, if a table doesn’t show up (especially in the current covid times), it affects our ability to remain financially sustainable.
How does the menu work at henne?
The experience features 6 course’s for £70 per person.
Do you cater for dietaries and allergies?
Due to Darren working solo in the kitchen it is not possible to cater for allergies and all dietary requirements. We will do our best to accommodate or adapt the menu for vegetarian and gluten free requests with a minimum of 48-hour’s notice. Please notify us when booking, if you do not eat certain foods.
Do you offer a wine pairing?
We offer the option of a bespoke wine pairing to go with your dinner. The Price is £55 per person.
What is your policy on children dining at henne?
We welcome children above the age 10 years old, but we do not provide a children’s menu at henne. They must have the tasting menu offered to all of our guests. All members of the party must eat because we are a very small restaurant, and therefore do not have capacity to accommodate non-dining guests, for this reason we do not allow small children or babies. How long does the tasting menu experience take?
We suggest that diners allow a minimum of two hours to comfortably enjoy the experience.
Do you have a bar area?
We do not have a bar area at henne.
Are dogs allowed in the restaurant?
Guide dogs and hearing dogs are welcome, otherwise we do not allow dogs into the restaurant.
Is there a dress code?
We do not have a dress code.
Where do we park?
There is plenty of free car parking in Moreton in Marsh, in particular along the high street. There is also the main car park in the centre of the town.
Events and large groups?

Is there accommodation for henne?
We do not have rooms, however we can recommend staying in the area at @cotswoldhouse, @stonecropcottage, @peonycottage and @feldonvalley.

What is your cancellation policy?
If you cancel within 24-hours of the booking time or do not attend, the deposit will not be refunded. Any cancellations made with more than 24-hour’s notice will not incur any fee.
Is there disabled access?
We are situated in an old, grade II listed building, so please call us or send an email to discuss the options for access.
When should I arrive?
Please arrive as close to your booking time as possible. We are a two man restaurant and space our bookings to give you the best experience. Please call and notify us if you are going to be more than 15 minutes late.
Why is the restaurant called henne?
henne is a shortened version of “Mersh henne”, the original name of Moreton in Marsh. As we are trying to source our ingredients from Moreton and as close to as possible, the name henne was a great way of tying the restaurant to Moreton in Marsh.
